Ben Lake is a match and pleasure lake and holds a good stock of carp upto 15lb, barbel to 5lb and bream upto 5lb plus roach and perch.

It has 22 disabled friendly spacious pegs to fish from.

During the summer months it can produce some good weights of 50 – 100lb.

Summer baits are pellet, meat, corn and paste.

Winter baits are dead red maggots, red maggot and corn.

This is a very popular pond with match and pleasure anglers.

The depths of the lake is in your margins 2.5 feet then ledge at 11 meters is about 4 feet then down a slope to 5.5 feet in the middle.

The match record for Ben stands at 128lb off peg 22 from Joel Whitley.

Ben was restocked in February 2014 with 750lb of mixed stockies.
